Felter's "Senior Moment's"

Hello all: We are going to start a blog, to try to keep you updated with what's going on in our busy life's. We will be writing occasionally, as well as trying to update you on a weekly basis while on our mission. This idea is new to us and without the help of Cristy, we would still be looking at the screen. Thanks sis! We will be speaking at our farewell on the 13th of April. We will then depart for our mission on the 17th. We are both excited and very anxious to get going. When you have had the calling since November, it seems to have been a very long winter. We have tried to keep busy doing the little things that need to be done but, there is only so much one can do until the last few days are here. We have packed items that we would need and then found ourselves unpacking them. We will find ourselves continually packing before we leave. We have been told that there is as much as 10 feet of snow up at the top of the camp (some two weeks ago). We will be staying down in Heber City until the snow reduces. We will start our training on the 22nd of April. I also know that there will be an open house for anyone to come up to the camp on the 17th of May and get the grand tour! We are still unsure to what particular area we will be working in on our mission. We could be assigned to any of the many jobs that go on daily, as well as be assigned to different one's on a rotating basis. It doesn't seem to matter to us which ones we will be working on at this particular time. We do know, that we will be going as a missionary group to the temple. A general authority will be speaking to us at our planned visit to the Joesph Smith building to view the showing of the movie. Introductions will follow the session. We are looking forward to that special day! This is going to be a new experience to both of us, with lasting memories. We know that we will be missing some of our family events for this short period of time but, we know that we are setting an example for our children and grandchildren. As most of you know, when the pioneers came across the Plains and when they had the opportunity to send a letter or word back to their family, they always closed with the the phrase "All is Well". They done this without losing their pioneer spirit even if they had lost love ones, famine had set in, clothes were worn out or many other difficulties they had to endure.
